• If you go to another place they ask how the place has been or what has been going on since the person left
• Feeling stiff was Baker who had been on the sofa for the longest trying to do some certain stuff as long as she didn't do anything

• languidly- super slow relaxing 
• Daisy is looking for a moment of the present and looking ahead about something else totally self-absorbed
• be a better person, Daisy says something that could be literally and calls someone a freak for being so different 
• To begin with Nick and Baker would supposedly get married by Daisy who asked him to come over very often so they can get along and see whats common
• Tom had a girl in New York who was going to get married by three people but he wasn't ready for any marriage at any time
• The people are all unique but have different personalities and they all seem to have something that's odd about them
