NOTES AND THOUGHTS ON GATSBY CHAPTER 5

-To begin with Nick sets up Gatsby and Daisy together for a tea @4

- Gatsby is very nervous and he seems to be very impatient the whole time he is waiting for Daisy to arrive

- By the way it's pouring rain and once Daisy arrives and Gatsby disappears

- Nick finds him paled and he lets them talk

-They both seem to be very scared to see each other but are willing to compromise

-Gatsby was left alone with Daisy while they talked and Nick had left to go look at the house of Gatsby in the rain

- Gatsby invites both Daisy and Nick to have a tour at the house 

- The three reach the room of Gatsby and he starts to show them the different clothing he has and then Daisy starts to cry because of how beautiful they are

- Gatsby told Klingspringer to play the piano and so he was but he had said earlier that the didn't have enough practice 

- Nick left Daisy and Gatsby alone in his house and walked out knowing they'd need to catch up on new things after the five year difference of not seeing each other
