GATSBY CHAPTER 9 NOTES AND THOUGHTS

- Nick feels alone and responsible for the death of Gatsby
- He calls Daisy to let her know about the incident but he gets nothing in return or from Mr. Wolfshiem
- A man appears who is known as the father of Gatsby but he felt bad for not being able to call him when he had been assassinated
- Gatsby father tells Nick that his name is Jimmy and he asks if they were close friends and he said yes
- Gatsby had run away from home when he was younger and his dad understood that he left do be success in life
- Every one was waiting for more people to come but no one showed up and they found out that no one really cared
- Nick meets Jordan who is now engaged and he sees Tom and he finds out that Wilson had asked who owned the yellow car and then Wilson killed
- Nick knows now that both Tom and Daisy make a mess and expect someone to clean it up for them afterwards but all Nick thinks now is that they are like kids not knowing how to clean
- Nick looks at the house once more and heads to the beach and then rethinks about Gatsby told him once
